UTEP falls to St. Mary's on the road in California

In a world where so much has changed since March, this hasn't: The UTEP men's basketball team doesn't travel well.

The Miners' adventures on the road got off to a familiar start, as UTEP dug an early hole to St. Mary's en route to a 73-61 loss in its first game of the season away from the Haskins Center.

How it went

A 24-6 run in the middle of the first half, much of which came with Bryson Williams on the bench in foul trouble, gave the Gaels the lead for good as UTEP fell to 2-1.
