UTEP falls to Marshall in overtime

The UTEP Miners (5-4-1) lost in an overtime thriller 2-1 to the Marshall Thundering Herd (3-4-2), Thursday night, at University Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Miners struck first early in the second half. When sophomore Vic Bohdan scored the first goal of the night with 62:31 left in regulation after senior goalkeeper Alyssa Palacios made her fourth save of the evening

The Miners took their foot off the gas pedal when Marshall answered back with a goal of their own in the 77th minute.

Both teams remained tied at one till the second period of overtime.
