UTEP Basketball: Miners offer, and set official visit with 2017 big man

According Dinos Trigonis from FullCourtPress.net, 2017 center Jacob Hughes has been offered by Tim Floyd and will visit El Paso on September 9th.

Hughes, a 6'11, 240 pound center is a Rivals 3-star prospect who has played his past two high school seasons at Servite High School in Anaheim, California.

He's averaged 6.6 points per game, and 5.6 rebounds per game in 40 varsity games in the past two seasons, but is expected to make a big production jump heading into his senior year of prep ball.

Playing high level AAU ball the past two summers has raised his recruiting stock and earned offers from Montana, Cal State Fullerton, and Washington State last summer.
