After a full calendar year of watching things unfold from the sidelines, UTEP freshman Trey Wade finally gets his chance, and has one main goal above all: WIN.
Wade, a 6’6 guard from Georgia, gives UTEP something they haven’t had in a few years out on the wing. An explosive guard with size, length, well above average athletic ability, a pull up mid-range jumper, and a willing perimeter stopper.
Wade and UTEP would have never been a thing, until late in the summer of 2016 when Wade blossomed and exploded on the AAU circuit, and Tim Floyd swooped into Georgia to nab the talented wing.
