UTEP basketball will introduce their six incoming freshman to fans and media in the coming weeks, and first up was the longest standing commit for the class of 2017 in point guard Kobe Magee.
Magee, a 6’1 San Antonio, Texas native was the 2017 District 28-6A Offensive MVP and All-Region selection by the Texas Association of Basketball coaches.
He was also a four year starter and left Brandies High as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,876 career points scored. He also dished out 334 assists, and won 93 games in his high school career.
As a senior, Magee averaged 17.
