UTEP Basketball: JUCO guard Kris Clyburn arrives for official visit

Ranger College guard Kris Clyburn has tweeted that he has arrived in El Paso for his official visit which starts today and through the weekend.

The 6'6 Clyburn was named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year, and a second team all-conference selection this past season under former UTEP head coach Billy Gillispe.

The Michigan native has offers from SMU, Houston, and Boise State and will have three years of eligibility at the D-1 level. He averaged 14.3 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game and shot 59 percent from the field, 50.
