UTEP Basketball: Canadian guard Isiah Osborne enrolls at UTEP

According to 600 ESPN El Paso’s Steve Kaplowitz, and the UTEP student directory, Canadian guard Isiah Osborne has enrolled in classes at UTEP.

Osborne played last season at the University of Windsor as a freshman guard and had a solid rookie campaign.

The 6’5, 195 pound guard averaged 15 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game, and shot 41.9 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from behind the three point line in 20 games last season.

Osborne notched five 20-point scoring games in his freshman year helping Winsdor to a 23-12 record and was named CIS Rookie of the Year

At this point it is unclear if Osborne has been officially deemed eligible by the NCAA, or whatever process is necessary for Canadian student-athlete transfers and UTEP has yet to release an updated roster.
