Tobi Amusan keeps preparing for the Olympics Wochit
In this uncertain time, there is one thing Tobi Amusan is sure of.
The UTEP alumna is going to keep training for the 100-meter hurdles, and the Nigerian is going to keep pointing toward the Olympics that for her are scheduled to begin Aug. 1 in Tokyo.
"As a professional athlete, the work doesn't stop," Amusan said during a Monday morning workout at Kidd Field. "We don't know what competitions are going to be ongoing after the virus thing is over. You can't just sideline everything you've been doing just because there's a problem in the nation.
