World record holder Tobi Amusan will spend the next portion of her life being inducted into hall of fames, and she just made a big one, as the UTEP alum is part of a five-member class headed to the Conference USA Hall of Fame.
This is the second consecutive year a Miner track and field student-athlete was inducted into CUSA’s hall as steeplechaser Anthony Rotich received the honor in 2022. Amusan is part of the C-USA Hall of Fame's fifth class.
While Amusan won an NCAA Championship in the 100-meter hurdles in 2017, her ticket to the hall of fame was punched with her world championship and world record last summer in Eugene, Ore.
