Single-game tickets and parking passes to each of UTEP’s six 2020 football home games go on sale at 8 a.m. Monday, but UTEP has declined to say how many tickets are available.
UTEP opens at home Sept. 5 against Stephen F. Austin.
"Due to reduced seating capacity in the Sun Bowl, ticket inventory is limited," the school said in a news release but didn't respond to repeated requests to specify what that capacity would be.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott previously said teams in Texas could play in front of 50% capacity, which would mean about 25,000 for Sun Bowl Stadium, which did slightly decrease its former capacity of 52,500 in a recent renovation.
