Former University of Washington position coach Brent Pease has accepted the UTEP offensive coordinator job according to Miner Rush sources.
Pease was recently let go from Washington by head coach Chris Peterson where he was the wide receivers coach, and will be announced as UTEP's offensive coordinator on January 14th.
His last stint as an offensive coordinator was from 2011-2013 at Florida under Will Mushchamp, and was Boise State's offensive coordinator in 2010 after Bryan Harsin left for the Arkansas State head coaching job.
He was briefly named Indiana's offensive coordinator in 2010, but took over the coordinator duties at Boise State once Harsin left to lead the Arkansas State program.
