Barron Wortham Sr. had many special moments at the University of Texas at El Paso in a football career that saw him set the school record for tackles while earning a portrait in the Miners' hall of legends.
For all of the things he did as a linebacker from 1990-93, though, one of the days that meant the most to him came earlier this summer when he helped Barron Wortham Jr. move into his dorm at UTEP as his son began his own journey as a Miner football player.
"Oh, man, to see him with the excitement in his eyes, words can't really describe it," the proud father said.
