A Thanksgiving weekend tournament game against Kansas in Las Vegas highlights the UTEP women's basketball team's otherwise home-heavy non-conference schedule, which was released Thursday, more than a month after it was finalized.
UTEP will take on the Jayhawks on Nov. 27, a day after they play Seattle in the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout. That will mark their only non-conference trip outside Texas or New Mexico.
The other nine non-conference games include six in the Don Haskins Center plus a game at New Mexico State (part of a home-and-home), at New Mexico and at Texas State.
