The El Paso Locomotive thought it had rounded the corner on overcoming its injury problems.
As it turns out, and as El Paso learned in a 3-1 weather-delayed loss to San Antonio FC Wednesday night at Southwest University Park, there was another hill to climb behind that corner.
A week ago they thought they would be healthy for this one, but they weren't.
Missing captain Chiro N'Toko, star defender Mechack Jerome, star striker Jerome Keisewetter, Yuma and new acquisition Sebastian Velasquez (he's still awaiting paperwork from South Korea), El Paso then lost stalwart midfielder Nick Ross, gave up two first-half goals and ran out of bullets following a 50-minute weather delay.
