By the numbers, UTEP senior swingplayer Chrishuana Parker didn't make a huge impact in Thursday's 84-73 victory over Middle Tennessee: three minutes, no statistics.
What her return to action from a broken bone in her foot, her first game since November, signifies is significantly more important. UTEP's best rebounder and one of the better players in Miner history is tangibly on the way back.
"It feels great to be back, now I've just got to get in shape, get in some kind of a rhythm," Parker said. "After not playing last year, having a short season last year, it is great just to be back in practice, much less get in a game.
