The third day of Camp Ruidoso on Thursday was a good one for the defense, which won all three team segments, some of them by large margins.
After practice, a local squad of 10-year-old cheerleaders did some cheers for UTEP and lined up to create a tunnel for them to run through as they headed to the training room
“The defense had a dominant day and the cheerleaders did a great job at the end,” coach Sean Kugler said.
When asked for specifics (about the players, not the cheerleaders), Kugler said, linebacker “Jamar Smith had an outstanding day, two sacks, two tackles for losses.
