The El Paso Locomotive offseason featured a sea of change ushered in by many familiar faces, and what exactly that means will begin to put on display Saturday night in Sacramento when the Locos kick off their fourth season with typically high expectations.
This will be the first game for new manager John Hutchinson and 11 first-time Locomotive players, who will mesh in with 11 returning players who made up the heart of last season's USL Mountain Division champions.
The game at Sacramento marks the beginning of a new era, one the team hopes leads to familiar excellence with a different look.
