Tim Hardaway returns to El Paso Bret Bloomquist, Wochit
The last time Tim Hardaway was in El Paso, his No. 10 jersey was hung from the rafters at the Don Haskins Center.
"I get to see my jersey again," Hardaway said in the El Paso Airport Tuesday night where he still said he gets goosebumps. "That will be a great feeling."
The 52-year-old Hardaway returned to El Paso to attend Wednesday's men's basketball game against Middle Tennessee, his first trip back to the Sun City since that memorable night in 2012. Beforehand he will meet with the team and he also will speak to fans at a special chalk talk fundraiser for the athletic department he loves.
