The UTEP women's basketball team has spent the season in a slow, steady march forward.
At times it's been a case of two steps forward and one step back, but that adds up to a net positive and this team is far better than it was two months ago.
Now, they need to take another step, a more difficult one. They begin their first four-game road trip in 11 years today with a game at UAB, and the road has not been great to this team.
