Two proud basketball programs, each limping a bit, will renew a rivalry Saturday night in the Don Haskins Center.
UTEP will host New Mexico at 7 p.m. Saturday, the first time the two old Western Athletic Conference rivals have met in El Paso since January, 2008.
The Miners are, quite frankly, struggling. They are looking for a light at the end of the tunnel, for a way out of some early season misery.
