UTEP will continue its high wire act Thursday night in Florida, teetering on the brink of a miraculous turnaround of a basketball season.
The Miners will meet Florida Atlantic at 5 p.m. MST Thursday in FAU Arena in Boca Raton.
UTEP has won nine of 11 games after a near-disastrous 2-13 beginning and, at this point, the next game becomes more and more important with each win. The Miners are tied for third place in the Conference USA standings with four games remaining — Thursday night at Florida Atlantic, Saturday night at FIU in nearby Miami and then Thursday, March 2 against Old Dominion and Saturday, March 4 against Charlotte, each of the last two in the Don Haskins Center.
