Louisiana Tech scored 15 straight points to put the Miners away, a 15-0 run that sent the Bulldogs into cruise control, that propelled them to a 64-44 win Thursday night in front of 3,205 fans at the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston, La.
The loss was the 11th straight for the Miners, an 11-game losing streak that is the program's worst since the 1952-53 season. UTEP is now 2-12 on the season and 0-2 in Conference USA play.
