Keonte Kennedy is entering the transfer portal, making him the seventh men's basketball player with eligibility to leave this offseason.
Kennedy, who missed 14 games to injury but was elite when healthy, announced his decision on Twitter and joins Jamal Bieniemy, Souley Boum, Tydus Verhoeven, Jorrel Saterfield, Christian Agnew and Bonke Marin either joining the transfer portal or going pro.
"Thank you to the city and the community of El Paso," Kennedy said in a statement. "The support of the fans and community has been remarkable during my tenure here. The University of Texas at El Paso has turned me into a better student, basketball player and better person during my three years here.
