UTEP's all-time winningest women's basketball coach is coming back to El Paso.
After six years in an almost-hometown school at Wichita State, Keitha Adams is back as the head coach of the UTEP Miners. She replaced Kevin Baker who surprisingly resigned after the Miners' best season in his six years here.
"Today is a very special and unique day for me. I'm thrilled and grateful to be returning as the head women's basketball coach at UTEP," Adams said in a statement prior to an introductory press conference Wednesday. "The love I have for this University, community, and program runs deep in my soul.
