Debuts don't come much more hyped than what Terry Juniel faced last weekend at New Mexico State.
He arrived in El Paso as a sophomore junior college transfer with plenty of acclaim a year ago, the guy heralded by coach Sean Kugler as the answer to all of UTEP's perennial punt return problems.
Then he got hurt and pedaled a stationary bike for a year while the punt return team cycled through every possibility on the depth chart in what turned into a horror show.
A healthy Juniel charged through summer conditioning, earning more hype from Kugler, which only intensified during a standout Camp Ruidoso.
