The end of the season awards keep coming in for standout running back Aaron Jones as he was selected to the 2016 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Smifinalist on Monday, Nov. 22.
Jones was only one of three running backs selected, including Rawleigh Williams, III from Arkansas and D’Onta Foreman from Texas. He is the only representative out of Conference USA.
The El Paso home grown tailback ranks fifth in the nation with 1,472 rushing yards and ranks sixth in rushing yards per game, 133.8. He is also the program’s all-time leading rusher with 3,813 career yards.
