Jeep Jackson and Lee Mays still conjure up memories of glory days for the UTEP basketball and football programs, eras of championships and postseasons, and now the two will be given their spots in the UTEP Athletics Hall of Fame.
Jackson, Mays, Mays' 2000 WAC championship football team, Tanja Magoc of the tennis team, Holly Russ of the women's basketball team and Jami Tullius of the soccer team form the 18th induction class into the UTEP Athletics Hall of Fame.
This year’s class will be honored on a to-be-determined date during the 2020-21 athletics year.
