The El Paso Chihuahuas 5-0 loss to Albuquerque Tuesday night wasn't over by the end of the first inning, but that frame pretty much summed up why they couldn't even their record and fell to 12-14.
In the top of the inning, El Paso failed to turn a double play, then starter Zach Lee couldn't get the final out before Albuquerque put up a pair of two-out runs with a bases-loaded double from Rafel Ynoa.
In the bottom of the inning, with a chance to dent Isotopes starter Ryan Carpenter, the Chihuahuas put two men on with one out, then didn't put a ball in play on a night where they eventually finished 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position.
