A look at how UTEP and UTSA match up:
Quarterback Edge: Even
UTSA has used four quarterbacks this year but Frank Harris has been the main one and will get the start against UTEP. The Miners' Gavin Hardison throws for more yards, Harris runs for more yards and both are looking to cut down on their mistakes. Each has four interceptions.
Running back Edge: UTSA
UTEP is above average here, but with Sincere McCormick, UTSA has the nation's second-leading rusher in terms of total yards. The Miners developed a third option last week with Ronald Awatt, who boosts UTEP's depth behind Deion Hankins and Joshua Fields.
