A look at how Stephen F. Austin and UTEP match up
Quarterbacks: Edge SFA
The first game presents unknowns everywhere and the biggest for UTEP is how Gavin Hardison will perform. He has the tools to give the Miners this check the majority of weeks but this will be his first start. The Lumberjacks' Trae Self put up mediocre numbers last year (53 percent completions, 12 TDs against 12 interceptions) but is a veteran.
Running backs: Even
UTEP's top two running backs, Quardraiz Wadley and Deion Hankins, had nine combined carries last year, but also are full of potential and have looked strong in fall camp.
