As promised, Floyd and his staff are still "fighting the fight." The NCAA mandates players get a day off. Not coaches. The Miner coaches were glued to the adventures of Florida Atlantic, next up in something of an amazing UTEP basketball season. This team that began the season at 2-13 and this team that began the Conference USA chase at 0-3, is now in position to gain one of the top four spots in the league and the first round conference tournament bye that goes with it.
