Given a prime time stage, former UTEP star Will Hernandez is going to use it to make a statement to help an El Paso charity.
The New York Giants' starting left guard tweeted that he will wear a set of cleats during the Monday Night Football game at Philadelphia with a UTEP logo on the right side and an El Paso Strong logo on the left side.
The goal is raise awareness and money for an education fund for child victims of the Aug. 3 Wal-Mart shooting through the El Paso Community Foundation.
