UTEP faced a tough task Thursday night, taking on UAB in Birmingham.
The task will be even tougher Saturday night.
The Miners take on Conference USA leader Middle Tennessee at 5 p.m. MST Saturday in the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Blue Raiders are 15-5 overall, 7-1 in Conference USA. That 7-1 marker is the best in the conference thus far this season.
