Former UTEP and Eastwood quarterback Mark Torrez has found a new home.
The 6-foot Torrez will transfer to University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio and will have two more years of eligibility.
Torrez missed the 2019 season with a knee injury, then opted out of the 2020 season as the sports world dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic.
During his time with the Miners, he was moved to wide receiver after playing quarterback but with Incarnate Word, he will moved back to quarterback.
"I'm excited about the new challenge and new opportunity," Torrez said.
