Two years ago, on a night at the Alamodome that has its own place in UTEP football lore, Warren Redix had a moment Miner fans will remember for years.
The UTEP-UTSA game, which began with the Miners as big underdogs, had slid into bizarro world. Specifically, it was in the fifth overtime, the longest game in Conference USA history, but UTEP had the ball and a chance to win.
