UTEP aims for upset at FIU Bret Bloomquist, Wochit
Six games into what increasingly looks like a troubled season, the UTEP offense continued a reeling retreat.
That was the culprit in a 32-17 loss to Florida International on Saturday in Miami, the Miners' 24th consecutive loss in the Eastern time zone, in a game where the defense gave a winning effort for almost three quarters.
The Miners are now 1-5 overall, 0-3 in Conference USA, and as ever, pointing to a handful of killer mistakes that kept them from having a chance.
