Madison Hill had small-college offers two years after a standout volleyball career at El Dorado, but her heart was always set on UTEP.
She walked on last year as a student manager for UTEP's best-ever team, was promoted to the regular squad in the spring and now is starting to see playing time as a defensive specialist.
The Miners just finished non-conference with a 6-7 record and travels to Florida International and Florida Atlantic this weekend to begin Conference USA play.
How did you decide on UTEP?
My cousin (Amy Sanders, 2006-09) actually played for UTEP and both of my parents went to UTEP.
