The El Paso Locomotive picked up a road point, pulling out a scoreless draw against New Mexico United in front of a sellout crowd of 10,000 that increased their lead in the USL's Mountain Division.
The Locomotive went a man up in the 66th minute when New Mexico's Juan Guzman got his second yellow card, but El Paso couldn't capitalize in a game where they had 57 percent of possession and an 8-7 advantage on shots.
The game was evenly played throughout.
"It was a super-hard field to play on for both teams, super-long grass, hard to move the ball, but our guys fought, a clean sheet away from home, a lot to take away," coach Mark Lowry said.
