The NFL draft line on Steven Montez after five years at Colorado is well-established.
The Del Valle alum has protype size (6-foot-5), a golden arm, strong leadership abilities, intelligence and mechanics that need some honing.
As he heads into next week's NFL combine, Montez knew he needed to work on that last part, and to that end, he found an El Paso connection.
