On an El Paso Locomotive team with players from all corners of the globe, from all different backgrounds and experiences, Brent Kallman is unique — for now.
The Minnesota native, who worked his way from Minnesota United's NASL team to Minnesota's MLS team, two weeks ago became El Paso's first loan player from an MLS club.
Shortly after arriving, finding an apartment and figuring out where the practice facility is, the 29-year-old defender made his Locomotive debut at Colorado Springs, played 90 minutes and had a major role in El Paso's shutout.
"The transition has been really smooth," said Kallman, who played collegiately for Creighton and then his entire professional career, dating back to 2013, for Minnesota United.
