Dana Dimel isn't ignoring the statistic that defines UTEP's challenge heading off to Charlotte on Saturday.
The Miners are traveling 1,500 miles to the Eastern time zone, where they are 0-26-1 in their history (they tied at West Virginia in 1949), trying to do something that would in its own way be as remarkable as the victory against Boise State.
"I'm not sick of talking about that at all," Dimel said at his weekly press conference to kick off Charlotte week. "Obviously that's one of the goals you have. You want to try to get that behind the program.
