UTSA almost pulled off the upset against BYU. Marshall cemented its spot at the top of Conference USA. Middle Tennessee State finally got in the win column.
Outside of Marshall at the top and UAB following close behind, C-USA has seen teams fluctuate up and down in the rankings this season.
UTSA and UTEP may have lost, but both teams had impressive performances in games they were heavy underdogs in.
Here's a look at how the conference shakes out after week six:
1. Marshall (3-0, 1-1)
Last week: No. 1
Several weeks off didn't seem to hinder the Thundering Herd as they cruised to a 38-14 win over Western Kentucky, outgaining the Hilltoppers 344-294.
