With veteran players Lee Moore and Earvin Morris gone from the UTEP men's basketball program, the Miners will need some new faces to step up on the perimeter and contribute when the college basketball season starts.
One of the key newcomers for the Miners for the 2016-17 season will be freshman guard Tim Cameron, who is on campus. He met with the local media for the first time on Thursday afternoon at the Foster Stevens practice facility.
"I'm excited about the future, I'm excited about being at UTEP and helping them program win," Cameron said. "I visited the school last fall and really enjoyed it here.
