The Miners did many things well as they tried to get a rare road win at UAB Thursday night, but couldn't get enough stops and gave the Blazers all the room they needed in an 18-4 run around the half, leading to a 74-61 UAB win. The Blazers made 12 of 23 3-pointers, including 6 of 11 from Rachael Childress (22 points) and led throughout, dropping the Miners to 6-15 overall and 3-6 in Conference USA.
