The UTEP men's basketball team has the momentum it has been looking for all season.
The Miners started start Sunday at UTSA, turned back a Roadrunner rally and won 59-54 to complete a two-games-in-four-days sweep. They have their first three-game win streak since December.
UTEP improved to 11-8 overall and 4-3 in Conference USA while the Roadrunners fell to 7-13, 0-7.
Jamal Bieniemy took a star turn, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, with seven of those points coming in a game-deciding run late in the second half.
