At some point before the middle of next season, Avery Crouse could set a mark that won't be at the front of the UTEP record book, but perhaps more than any other category it will define the junior guard.
Assuming she stays healthy and comes back for that fifth year made possible by the COVID season, Crouse can play more games in a UTEP uniform than anyone in the history of the program.
That's possible, of course, because that 2020 season didn't count against her eligibility, but there's another aspect that makes all this so rare.
In this transfer portal era where every member of Crouse's recruiting class eventually left, Crouse never wavered in her belief that UTEP was the place for her, that El Paso is once again her home.
