Army third nationally at running, dead last at passing

Nothing speaks more to the unusual nature of Army's triple-option offense than the stats of Ahmad Bradshaw.

In four games, the senior quarterback has 63 carries this year for 439 yards and is 4-of-20 passing for 36 yards. Even by Army standards that is extreme. Last year Bradshaw threw for 703 yards, including 55 on just three completions against UTEP.

"This is really fun," Bradshaw said. "Running the triple-option, I get asked about that, taking hits on every play. I don't know, that's normal, it's not uncommon for me.
