UTEP national champion hurdler Tobi Amusan is one of 10 semifinalists for the women's Bowerman Award, the NCAA track and field version of the Heisman.
She joins teammate Emmanuel Korir and Burges alum and Florida jumper Keandre Bates, who were named men's semifinalists Thursday.
Three finalists will be announced on June 21.
Amusan won the NCAA championship in the 100-meter hurdles on June 10 with a time of 12.57 that ranks as the second-fastest time in the world this year.
