The honors keep rolling in for Tobi Amusan and Emmanuel Korir, as both added Conference USA Track Athletes of the Year awards, which were announced Friday.
The two, who this week were named semifinalists for the Bowerman Award that goes to the top track athletes in the NCAA, won national championships last week to give UTEP it's first multiple champions at an outdoor meet since 1978.
Amusan won the 100 hurdles and has the second-fastest time in the world, while Korir won the 800 and has the fastest time in the world.
