University of Texas at El Paso alumni joined family and friends Saturday for the school’s eighth-annual Pick-Nic.
The sold-out El Paso celebration was held at the Memorial Park Reserve Area at 3200 Copper Ave.
It featured food, minisoccer, volleyball, DJ music, a watermelon-eating contest, Zumba, a jumping balloon and other activities.
The UTEP Office of Alumni Relations and the UTEP Alumni Association joined hosts across the country to organize nearly 20 Pick-Nics for UTEP Miners to join together in celebration of their alma mater.
